Graham Nash was in a band called the Hollies, David Crosby was in The Byrds and Stephen Stills was in Buffalo Springfield... these dudes met while partying at Cass Elliott's (from The Mamas and The Papas) house when they decided to sing an impromtu jamm on the spot... Everyone was blown away, including them, so they decided to start a band. After approaching Steve Winwood (one of my personal favorites) and getting turned down, they found a Canadian dude named Neil Young and he joined up. The band played huge Festivals like Woodstock and Altamont... all of them have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame not once, but twice...


They don't make 'em like they used to...
