I grew up in the country about 45 minutes from a skate shop called ALLSK8... There was no mall, there were no magazine stores, there was nowhere that sold skateboard or skate-related items... just this dude named Glen that owned ALLSK8... thinking back Glen must have put up with a lot of broke redneck kids like us... I owe Glen eternally for a huge chunk of positivity in my life... the rest I owe to Natas Kaupas, Santa Monica Airlines (Skip) and THRASHER MAGAZINE... It's a teen-age-dream to be involved with sh*t like this...
